So I just started to dust my figure collection(in my detolf) for the first time in 7 months since they finally have dust on them. My room doesn't really produce dust and it's so clean in the detolf anyways.

I have four of the cubes completely dusted by using Office Depot cleaning duster ( www.officedepot... )

It's so easy to use and it's literally just spraying the figures clean. However after finishing two cubes, I noticed that it still leaves a very very very thin layer of dust.

I like using the can of air best since it's easy and quick. It only took me 10 mins to clean a whole cube but I wanna know if there is something quicker to use that isn't hard to use.

What do you guys use to clean?

Raiski6 anno/i fa#2015415Canned air is bad for your figures. It has chemicals in it that can damage the paint of the PVC itself.
Canned air does not contain air, but gases that are non-reactive to many substances; including PVC. It could be harmful, though, due to the pressure at which the gases are released from the can, and the fact that depressurization decreases drastically the temperature which could probably wear painted surfaces. I personally don't recommend using canned air too to clean your figures.

But I read that the bitterant added does leave a residue but the quantity of of chemical is too low too really matter.

I'm thinking about switching to using make-up brushes now though c: I'll keep the cans for cleaning small little places I can't get to.

When I do actually dust, every few millennia, I use a Swiffer duster.

I will write a new blog once its all done with pictures of course.

But damm moving every detolf ( 7 of them emptying them out ) then re configuring them by series etc.. Fust the inside clean the class etc.. What an endevore. Ah you got to love dust it gets into everything.

I always use a feather duster and I have never had problems at all. I use it directly on my figures and there's not damage to the paint or the little details. I works great for me. : )
