Happy Shingeki Day to me! Not only did I get the Levi nendoroid but my Shingeki LE order from Amazon also came in. =)
Standard nendoroid box and packaging.
Here's the figure in its blister. All my parts are there.
Here's how he looks right out of the box. I'm quite impressed with the printing of the Wings of Freedom. Very nice and clean.
With his cloak.
To be honest, it was a major pain in the behind to pose Levi with his 3D maneuver gear on and holding the blades. The cloak totally gets in the way. The left side of mine kept falling off. Because of this, I only got photos of one pose, which I copied from the box. (It's already past 1AM.)
It took me a good 10 or so minutes to get this pose... >_>;;
This is a very nicely detailed figure but it's so hard to pose! Maybe I just suck, but I hope that's not the case... When having Levi standing up straight with his cloak on, the back of the cloak is always going to be flying in the non-existent wind because of the display arm.
Standard base is standard. It gets the job done. I think it's nice that it's strong enough to handle the weight. (While I have a few other nendoroids, they haven't been opened yet. This is the first nendoroid I've played with since they switched to the updated design so this is new to me.)
I don't have the Eren nendoroid so I can't have Levi kick him, unfortunately. Like I said, the details are pretty amazing. The 3D maneuver gear is very, very nice, and they move a little bit so you can have it pointing in different angles. If only this weren't so hard to pose with the cloak on........
Definitely a must-buy for all Heichou fans, but be prepared to be frustrated a bit when posing.
The figma is on order already and should be released soon. I'm looking forward to that.
