Commenti October 2019: Time to Relax! New Anime to Watch

  • I'm happy to hear you don't need surgery.:D It's probably a huge relief.

I see you've been sucked into the Fate universe. I got into that back when Stay Night came out. It's pretty harem-y but I liked it. I was blown away with Zero, but that's when all the hype started. By the time UBW was released I was kind of done with the fandom. Then FGO came along and all the character designs are pulling me right back in. I haven't played the game, and likely won't, but I'm planning to watch the anime at some point along with the other Fate series I missed. Ishtar's awesome. I picked up the Aniplex figure a while back. The only problem is she's so hard to balance on her base.

To relax, I'm trying to revive some old hobbies I've let die off. I've been gaming more but not anywhere like I used to. I'm really trying to get back into drawing, but even though I have so many ideas, I'm in a slump motivation-wise. I've been thinking about reading manga while I'm bored at work so I don't window shop for figures so much. I'm also trying to go out with my friends more, but our schedules don't always line up. Being at home has been a big drain on me lately. The boring routine is just killing me and I've developed a habit of staying up too late drinking. I don't look forward to week-ends much anymore.

Anime-wise, I'm not watching anything too new. The only current series I'm watching are One Piece, Detective Conan, and the last Fairy Tail season. I'm mainly watching older stuff like Fist of the North Star, Pretty Cure, HunterxHunter (the 1999 one), and Creamy Mami. I started the third Jojo series and Persona 5 which are more recent.

Glad to see that you didn't need the surgery.

To answer your question, I'm not really watching much of anything these days. I'll go back and revisit old shows, and I'll watch the occasional new show on disc but these days I'm spending a lot more time on my other hobbies (figure related stuff - photography/blogging, tabletop gaming, and running), and I just don't have as much time these days to spend watching stuff.

It's kind of weird that I watched a lot more anime in the early 2000's than I do today, particularly considering how much easier it is to watch new stuff these days.

Just finished up my archival releases of Owarimonogatari, Koyomimonogatari, Kizumonogatari, and Owarimonogatari S2 (they match up with CoalGirls' releases of the previous arcs).

So I guess you could say I was watching those (if QAing = watching) :)

Glad to hear you don't need the surgery and best of luck with staying healthy! I haven't watched any anime this season as nothing really grabbed my attention. I did most recently read the Neon Genesis Evangelion manga which I enjoyed. I was supposed to get ITEM #166986 so that so that I could build it over the university fall break but unfortunately it got delayed because a keychain in my AmiAmi order wasn't available yet.

Very good to hear you don’t need surgery! :D

I’m finally watching Kaguya-Sama, Kimetsu no Yaiba and Bunny Girl Senpai. My avoidance of seasonal anime until they’re out of the spotlight has a connection to my OCD I bet, haha. Except KnY which is still pretty current. I don’t mind watching it right now. It’s not that I don’t want to “go with the crowd” or hate on modern anime but seasonal anime just don’t live up to anime I miss often. I’m rewatching KLK too, and trying to get to Pulp Fiction which isn’t an anime of course, lol.

galablue11 mese/i fa#68318685This month is full of work for me, so very little relaxation time. I'm currently almost done with Monogatari, and then I'll move on to the Promised Neverland for my nightly anime. Currently watching Bleach on the treadmill and it's fun.
I hope your over the counter medication works. I had my gall stones for 7 years and the attacks got so bad that I couldn't sleep at night. You might have to have surgery in the future, but maybe you'll be able to plan your surgery at a time that's more convenient.

Well with my track record for medical emergencies I would have something like this happen maybe once in a decade, so maybe in the future if I don't have any problems now but I'm HAPPY that I don't have to go in for surgery and if it's nothing more than what is suspected to be a bad case of gas and cramps that over the counter Medication should work.

Always good to watch some Anime while being productive, I need to get back to my Mobile Suit Gundam series Rewatches since I've been watching Gundam Wing and I need to watch Gundam Seed plus Gundam 08th MS Team.

Need to watch Macross Frontier again too so feels like I want to watch more Scifi/Mecha Anime and would be nice if there were more Anime like that in the newest season of Anime.
