Commenti Medusa vs. Medusa: Sega & Banpresto

  • galablue1 mese/i fa#78915624I know you said this was a one off, but what a great article. I would definitely not be upset if you chose to continue this in the future. I agree that I like the pose on the Sega figure, it's very dynamic. For me, the Banpresto figure looks good from a distance, but the terrible base and hair stand is just a no-go for me.

Thanks :). I'm not opposed to doing more, but I only have so much time! If you have a particular request for something that I could do, feel free to suggest and I'll see if I can fit it in anywhere, lol.

After reading your blog I would prefer Sega's although I preordered banpresto one because TOM has it.
Now the question is where can I getting sega's with a decent price >.<

Glad you liked it! I don't think she's tooo hard to get hold of (as of time of writing, Mandarake has a bunch), but the current shipping issues potentially make it quite uneconomical right now. My country has airmail still, so the increase in postage cost isn't too hefty, but if you're having to go DHL you might be better off waiting.

dtindcarea1 mese/i fa#78920709You really hit it out of the park on this comparison/review. I enjoyed it very much. Since I have the SEGA version myself, I agree with everything you say about it. The SEGA pose just was so dynamic that I chose to buy the SEGA over the Banpresto version. I didn't post of side view of her but she looks very good from the side as well (maybe better than from the front view). I have her on top of one of my DETOLFs and she looks pretty good next to my massive Archer figure.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Interestingly enough, I have her displayed in this direction, but don't seem to have included a photo of her at that angle. Not entirely sure why!

It can be hard picking between figures of the same character. Thanks for the detailed comparison.

I give the win here to Sega. That unique pose really sets her apart and I like the facial features with more depth.

Waaait, I just read this one your website. Pretty good review of both prize figures from different manufacturers. Now, I kinda get why it's easy for bootleggers to copy prize figures
