Well right now I am too Stressed mentally to continue with the Hobby for now and am working on going on Hiatus from things once I finish up with a deal I've worked out with one of my old friends and I have had restless nights this weekend since I got Tracking Number for what feels like one of the most important items to be added to this collection once it gets in hand and it has me wondering about the rest of you if you have restless nights due to checking for Tracking updates.

Currently I'm eagerly awaiting ITEM #49500 to get here along with the Robotech Masterpiece Green Beta Fighter that connects to it along with the Macross Plus YF-21 Fast Pack Version and it's gotten to where I check every few hours for updated Tracking on that one and I have to take something to help me sleep tonight or I'll be up doing the same thing again.

-Checked Tracking and it updated on that one so I'll have that in hand on the 17th! So I'm wanting this week to warp by quickly so I can have my Alpha and Beta fighter again so I can marvel at it's amazing features and will be one of those awesome items on display in this collection when it's connected to the Beta!

After that gets in I'll be expecting ITEM #49499 along with it's companion Robotech Masterpiece Beta fighter and that's another thing I am very excited to get and looking forward to having those incredible pieces in the collection because the Alpha/Beta are unique and have not been re-released since they were released and are the true definition of a collectible and are the type of items I want to collect.

Since the Fender Bender we had a few weeks ago my Stress has been rapidly increasing and it's gotten to where I can't deal with a lot of things since I'm too tightly wound at times and the only thing I can do is stop doing things and work on relaxing.

How many times do you check Tracking Numbers when you are expecting something important?

How many restless nights have you had due to being up at random times in the night checking for updates on the packages you have coming in?

I know with the Pandemic going Shipping has been affected to a point you don't know when you'll get your packages but it's gotten to where I'm stressed waiting for things and it's one of those old habits I have as a collector after all with what money you put into these Figures and Collectibles you dread having issues with Shipping to the point it can mess up your sleep.

How many times are you checking for Tracking updates on your shipments?

Under normal circumstances, maybe once a week, maybe more frequently the closer it gets to where I am. Under current circumstances I really wouldn't even bother checking, lol. I remember when I was younger I'd check multiple times a day out of excitement, like, "Oh! Has it moved at all yet?" or "Where is it now?", even if it hadn't moved at all in several days.

I guess I'm the only one checking a million times a day lol

Chloe-tsundere The louise otaku
I only check it if it takes longer than usual. It's only a safety net for me more than me wanting to actually track the item.
And with slow shipping (surface) I check it 2 times

Not at all really but if it takes awhile yes I check it if it takes like 5 months I did that with Tokyo otaku mode before

I check my tracking .......... Sorry I was seeing if my shipments got updated.

To be serious way more often then is necessary, I've been doing it even more lately. Mainly because I have a few items that have been market as "arrived at post" for 4 days with no movement.

fantasy_trance1 mese/i fa#81646223Oh my gosh, I was reading this and your energy just felt so familiar, then I looked over on the side bar and realized you are the same person who posted those awesome pictures of your bedroom! How are you doing? It's OK if you're still stressed out of your mind, but for your sake, I hope you can slip into some form of peace soon. Stressing over packages too has got to be heavy.
I do it too though when something I've ordered is taking a little bit too long to move along in the post. I had two figures (ITEM #740115 and ITEM #740111) stuck "in transit" so long, I was bracing myself for the dreaded "LOST" message in the transit details. I've only had a package lost in the post one time though for an item someone sold and shipped for me. I've never had a package ordered lost.
Found out my two little guys went through a different postal facility than the one my mail typically goes through and the facility was reported to be having issues with staff due to COVID, so after I read that, it made sense it took about 2 weeks for them to arrive (even though they were priority mail). If I didn't have money coming in where I could just replace them if they got lost, I'd be way more concerned though, so I feel ya.
Do you like comedians? I like to listen to Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, and George Carlin sometimes. They're so funny, they take my mind of anything bothering me. Laughing is good for you. I pray in my heart and soul your stress comes down soon and you can be happy.

I always dread that someone screwed up when Tracking isn't updated after someone says they shipped something to me and always think someone lost it before they could get it scanned but it takes a day or so for Tracking to show up.

Right now my Stress is still lousy and I have another thing to stress and worry about and it's my Mother's Health [She's not taking care of herself that well I've told her to go see a Doctor at least three times this month but she doesn't listen] so it feels like with multiple things causing more Stress here and each day gets to where I have to cut certain things out of what I do to keep from having a mental breakdown from Stress.

My Stress may get relieved a little bit once these packages get in and my Friend said he may be close to finding more of the Macross/Robotech stuff I sold him 5 years ago and may find the Blue Mospeda Aoshima Alpha Fighter and Blue Tread that I had that at the time was considered a Grail item in this collection and if I can reacquire that that's something I'll be very excited to get!

I don't need the Stress that this hobby is giving me over the current constant Stress I have to deal with in this living situation, it's gotten to that point that the decision to put things aside for a few months where this hobby isn't bothered with is the best solution.

I deal with Constant Stress from one thing or another so really don't need Stress from the Hobby.

I currently have something stuck in customs since 3 weeks and I would say I check the tracking number a couple of times per day. It is actually very annoying, that it took only like 2 days to get into my country and then customs take like forever.

I've only ordered figures from Japan once before and that was before this pandemic happened. There was also another time I was waiting for a replacement from GSC, but that was during the pandemic.

For my order from Japan, I guess it was because it was my first time and I was really excited to get my stuff so I checked tracking several times everyday. Do I have a problem? I think so haha! I would just keep mindlessly refreshing the page again and again and hoping the status would change... I'll, uh, just move on before this sounds too weird...

For the second time, since it was during the pandemic the replacement piece took ages to arrive. At first, I would check tracking everyday, but after a month or so with no progress, I kind of gave up and checked it once or twice a week. To be honest, checking tracking less often seemed to make me less anxious, I guess it was because I wasn't spending as much time worrying about it. Eventually, when the tracking finally updated, I got a big adrenaline rush, so I guess I still have an unhealthy obsession over this...XD

Every half-day at least, often more if I know it's close.
