It was the illustrious NANA figures ITEM #1226081 & ITEM #1226082 that finally made me start collecting figures. I had no idea about anything to do with figures so I ordered them from Rightstuf for like $580 and have been waiting ever since. So when the opportunity to get them from someone on here for only $299, sealed and all, I immediately took the chance - not only were they WAY cheaper, but they would also finally ship, because RS was not moving and I was impatient for my grails. They were shipped the very next day, and I lovingly checked the tracking number every morning.
They were shipped on the 5th. By the 9th, they were marked "in transit to next facility," expected to arrive by the 11th, with the latest arrival for the 12th. By the 11th it was still in transit, but I figured, hey, this thing has to literally cross the entire country, it can take a bit, no problem. Except that, to this day (9/16), it is STILL "in transit to the next facility" with no updates since the 9th. It was shipped from Florida; I'm pretty sure it never made it out of the state T.T
So on Wednesday I submitted a help request as USPS says to do, but they haven't replied yet. Granted, I sent it at night because it was keeping me up from anxiety and I just needed to get it done so I could sleep, so technically they have until Monday to reply, but the lack of any reply or update was making me so anxious that I just submitted a missing mail search tonight. Since it hasn't been checked into another USPS location in the past full week, I'm fairly sure it was stolen... But I've heard that if you complain an enough to USPS they miraculously find your package, so I'm also thinking of calling them about it on Monday...
UPDATE 9/17
I guess it is indeed true that if you bother USPS enough they find your package. This SUNDAY morning I woke up to news that my package arrived in my state facility, after a whole week without updates... phew . False alarm I guess, but I do believe my nagging is what made them miraculously find my package so quickly... who knows.

yeah, usps is a bit hit or miss on that :/ best of luck!!! do call them repeatedly if they don't take your call, i've heard of that happening too
yew are so right T_T hearing dis actually calmed me down bc i heard horror stories of usps ignoring hundreds of missing mail requests but also miracles where ppl sent one missing mail search and 1 month later it arrives ;_; i hope i get an agent who actually gives a shart about my package !!! T_T
!!!!!!! being confrontational is so hard but like. you are in the right here.... their job is to get you your package and they are not doing it! so you have every right to complain! don't feel bad. althOUGH as someone who works in costumer service, people are always more willing to help you if you're nice, so I don't think you have to be rude on the phone or anything. they'll feel bad for upsetting a nice person (unless they're cruel...)
exactly!! i'm so glad i contacted them multiple times immediately bc i'm sure they actually WOULD lose my figures eventually if i just let them sit there for a while. so obnoxious tho... DHL would never
THANKYEW i hate being the annoying customer but if it means i'll get my roomwear miku figure then its the last resort T_T usps is so shart sometimes
atp im gonna try and call them but im a little scared T_T i wonder what the phonecall process is like
Noooo you should definitely call them. From what I gather, you kind of just have to annoy them enough lol. I really hope you get your things!!
For sure. I wasn't even worried at first because domestic shipping in the US has not once gone wrong for me thus far, I just freaked out with the lack of updates - especially since it wasn't scanned for a while. I'm Brazilian so I kind of have trauma lmfao; shipping there is such a chaotic mess and so many packages get stolen... I just freaked out
