This is just a little club I created to find all of the Australian people that are hiding all over MFC.
The club gives everyone an opportunity to meet other Aussies and discuss what you all collect!
You can organise any group orders, sales and trades here and discuss anything you collect!

I made a list of all the members and their locations:club/1447/discu.... Hopefully it helps you!

There are not really set rules just keep it classy and have fun!

Don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions or want a new forum etc. I'm always here!

Quick report on Sugo Toys: Ordered an in-stock item. Not a word for five business days, then I got an email saying they were actually out of stock and wouldn’t have my order until mid-October.

I get that these mistakes happen but I’m a little more on guard now and if anyone else has issues with them please do report. If anything of note happens hereon out I’ll definitely update.

Benkoko1 mese/i fa#81209170She was just put up for preorder on Animeworks for 320, so I would have about 80 dollars for shipping before I cut even. Should I just get it here animeworks.com.... to avoid the hassle and expensive shipping if something happens in the future? Or should I give Amiami a try?Up to you I guess. I would personally go AmiAmi but whatever your more comfortable doing. Another good thing about AmiAmi is that you don't have to pay for it until it's out and ready to ship.

Prometheus9351 mese/i fa#81156836Yeah I've tried to look into just buying things from Australian retailers but I just cant justify the price difference. AmiAmi has been my go to pretty much since I started collecting.
Lately I've also been getting a few from Nin-Nin Game which have prices similar to AmiAmi but give more back in reward points so you can get better discounts on things.

Prometheus9351 mese/i fa#81111840Let hope so. The last nendoroid I got was ITEM #764411 and it was ¥1,240 (~A$15) for SAL. I normally go with SAL if I can as it is cheaper and usually only takes a week or so longer then EMS.
Scaled figures can vary depending on the size and then if you can use SAL or if you have to go EMS. ITEM #396901 cost me ¥4,425 (~A$60) for SAL which is probably close to the limit for SAL. ITEM #740291 cost me ¥6,460 (~A$85) through EMS. ITEM #675821 cost me ¥2,720 (~A$35) through EMS.
As a general rule I would say smaller scaled figures (1/8-1/6) you would be looking at around the $30-$40 mark with SAL (and about $10-$15 more for EMS). Bigger ones (1/4) more so around the $50-$70 (Usually has to be EMS).

Benkoko1 mese/i fa#81111728Thanks for the reply. The figure is released next year anyways, so hopefully more shipping opens up by then. Considering nendoroids are normally the same size, how much do you normally pay for shipping on them, and do you prefer EMS or SAL?
Considering I'm sending a scale figure, I don't think SAL would work. Could you give some examples of figures and how much they shipped for if you don't mind for reference?

Prometheus9351 mese/i fa#81111587I get most of my figures from AmiAmi. I find even with shipping cost and import taxes it still works out better then buying from anywhere in Australia. I've brought from Animeworks a few times and the figure alone is more then the total from AmiAmi.
As for shipping cost depends on what type and the weight of the product. Atm the only shipping option they have that ships to Aus is DHL which is stupidly expensive. I've still been using either EMS or SAL and then I'm just having to wait till those services start shipping here again.
Other then that they are really good. Definitely recommend.

Benkoko1 mese/i fa#81111554I was planning on buying from amiami for the first time, particular this (www.amiami.com/...), and I wanted to know what was your experience from buying from Amiami and how much shipping is here.
I'm thinking of waiting it out until some store like anime kaika, anime at abbotsford, or animeworks has it in stock or preorder, but considering the popularity of her and how much the prices are inflating here, I feel like it would atleast be 400 (considering also phat's loli flugel which is being sold for 450! www.anime-oz.co...).
Amiami's price by itself is around 240 not including shipping. So if any of the stores mentioned prior does end up listing her for 400, I have around 160 dollars of shipping till it hits even with their prices. Now considering this, how much would shipping be in total? And would it be worth to save what could be maybe alot of money buying from amiami and possibly risk expensive shipping that could be even more, or already by the inflated price on our local stores?
