Often prize figures are available for regular sale if a merchant can get a shipment from the manufacturer, but I think they usually don't get very many, nor appear in physical retail stores. I'm not entirely sure. Just that they often make them with the intent to sell them to crane game machines, and I've never seen them get a second production run.
