Yomiko6 mese/i fa#76304563Despite their strange name, this company has produced a whole bunch of Kekkai Sensen goods, with a lot of variety and nice quality across the board. Not to worry though, since GSC will be the ones actually manufacturing the figure; they're likely putting Chugai's name on it because of licensing reasons, the same as why some figma and Nendoroids are released under the Max Factory or FREEing labels, etc.

That is not entirely true. Nendoroids under other companies are made by those companies, but they have licenced the Nendoroid line from GSC. There have been visual differences between a GSC Nendoroid and a licenced Nendoroid from other companies, which indicates that GSC does not indeed make those Nendoroids but most likely loans the Nendoroid schematics to those companies (for example there's a Hong Kong company that made some official Nendoroids that looks a bit wonky, but I can't remember which series it was from so I'm having a hard time finding them). It would also be weird that they're doing this because of licencing issues considering that ITEM #628872 is under the Beyond licence so GSC have clearly obtained that licence at some point and, unless they're owned by Shueisha, Chugai does not own the licence. This is most likely Chugai wanting to make more Nendoroids for the series and have licenced the Nendoroid line from GSC as GSC have most likely dropped the licence by now as they mostly focus on things that are current trends.

EDIT: Found the Nendoroid I was thinking of ITEM #549499.

Hope this means we get more BBB merch in figures.
