Thank you everyone :D

MugenTenshinFRD (4 anno/i fa) #2257766Great photograph!
Love the lighting, angle and sphere.
Makes me want to get this figure.

I actually bought this on a whim because i needed something suitable for my props i was making (i was making those japanese roofs even before buying this figure), since it was cheap. In the end i have no regrets. Excellent figure, will keep it since i also have Naoe Kanetsugu.

EXkurogane (4 anno/i fa) #2257459Most of them are styrofoam;

one characteristic of styrofoam, any chemical that uses ether/thinner/turpentine as a solvent will melt styrofoam, forming an irregular surface which will look like cement, rock, etc then only touch up them with acrylic/water-based paint later. I usually achieve the melting it by just using spraycan paints and spray in a controlled manner until they melt to an extent that i want. Many of my dioramas make use of styrofoam as the main material, and hence dark rocky landscapes/ruins are pretty common in my photos. Yagyu Gisen is an exception because i wanted to do something different, something bright and lively.

This album here (FB page) does show a bit how i prepared my stuff for the case of Yagyu Gisen.
