EXkurogane2 anno/i fa#37122969Hi!
Actually there are quite a number of Malaysians here, just that they are here for the figure database rather than photography so they don't appear to be very active nor really upload anything despite having an account and a profile here. I myself have quite a few of them in my friends list. However, there are not many anime/bishoujo figure photographers in Malaysia though, the others are mainly in the transformers/marvel & dc comics/star wars territory when it comes to toy photography.

Oh, I didn’t know that! But yeah I guess the ‘active’ ones tend to do photography often thus ending up on MFC’s front page, so the only few Malaysians I’ve ever seen is you and a few others that I happened to have acquainted with haha. (Though I myself am quite interested in the community here in MFC recently, so I guess I’m considered active?) Pretty cool to know though!

victheduck2 anno/i fa#37121651so when I saw this photo I happened to focus on the background a lil bit longer and realized how familiar it looked... and then I clicked into your profile and it turns out you’re also from Malaysia! I knew I’ve seen this kind of architecture before. xD There aren’t many of us here on MFC so it’s a nice surprise, haha.

I love this! Personally I like the depth to the shot, not being close up on Miku somehow makes it feel more natural and real and less staged, the background adds a really nice element IMHO.

Parusia2 anno/i fa#37090936That's pretty cool but the large background doesn't let you focus on the main character Miku and her Honda.

I do agree with your points, though this shot is intended to be like that (similar concept to environmental portraits), just for the sake of variety among my photos.

I'm aware that simply throwing a figure into landscape or architecture photography won't be popular in the figure photography world but it's okay. I do have more stuff that are a bit different coming soon this month.
