enjunishikiori1 anno/i fa#62747885Consider this: LGBT people can't ever have a day they can avoid thinking about how something as tame as holding their partner's hand in public could mean risking being assaulted, or how discrimination is still rampant in several fields (employment, healthcare, etc.).
You say you'd like to be able to forget about it, but that's because you can afford that. Think of those who can't do that *ever* without that being an exaggeration.
I agree that it's tiring to see companies slapping the flag everywhere, but that's an issue because it's rainbow capitalism and the companies don't really care about LGBT rights, they're just making a show of it to get more cash. Long story short, no one likes it.
This however is not a company, this is an individual much like any other user on this site, celebrating Pride Month. There is nothing political about an LGBT person celebrating their holiday, especially considering these specific characters are canonically gay too.
Edit: also some info on Pride's history and significance, to give you further context as to why it's such a big deal.

Preach! #truth

OMG, thank you so much. Perfect explanation and i really apreciated the help. Love you HAHAHHA
Also, those guys were/are smart ok etc I totally agree, but they aren't right about everything. They had a lot of wrong anatomy ideas and I don't think ancient Greece was really an 100% model of an heterosexual society haha
Thanks!

No problem! Happy Pride :D

Np, glad to see you've handled some of the negativity with stride! And I was thinking about mentioning how many people in ancient Greece were openly homosexual after seeing that person's comments trending, but I didn't want to get more off-topic haha

Sundae1 anno/i fa#62690491Okay, if you knew that before commenting I don't understand what your problem is with the photo then. If you don't like it you can just move on.
Thanks, love you hahahah

Sakura00551 anno/i fa#62712841Wow Einstein, you seriously had to bring up folks like Plato, Socrates and Aristotle into your comment on two happy nendoroids holding a flag, huh.
You're so deep and smart, bravo.

darkroseblast1 anno/i fa#62712829There's nothing political in the photo. It's two Nendos holding a rainbow flag to celebrate LGBT pride month.

Thanks!

Emboar5001 anno/i fa#62707684Happy Pride Month. :)
Feels very happy when someone do this picture at MFC during pride month. Thank you. :)

I'm the one who need to say thanks haha. Glad you liked <3

inioli1 anno/i fa#62712744>it’s promoting some political agenda.<
Since when is people's sexual orientation political agenda? Dude, this is a site for figure collectors and various people collect anime figures. And some happen to be a part of the lgbt community. It's a simple photo of two figures holding a rainbow flag since it's Pride month. What's the big deal.

I need to thank u guys to help me answering all the hate here. Glad that i'm not alone and the main meaning of the pic was understood.
AobaSeragaki1 anno/i fa#62712753Cute photo!!
I also hope the turd burglars who are blatantly ruffled over trifling things like a picture of an anime figure holding a pride flag possess the same energy towards hetero figure pics, which you know won't be the case. Hmmm!
Damn those Gays™ for existing and collecting anime figures.

Thank u! Yeah, there's a lot of problems here at MFC and I'm a litte worried that some people think a innocent LGBT+ picture is one of them.

AkibaMelon1 anno/i fa#62712760Good job on the pic! The looks on their faces are so damn adorable and lovely (Victor is such a pie!) ♡ The pride is real •^-^•

Thank u so much, I'm really glad that you guys like the pic <3
AppleNapoleon1 anno/i fa#62712814Wonderful pic! The lighting is superb, and I love the little flag - did you make it yourself? It's lovely!
Happy Pride!

Thanks! :) Yes, I made it with a piece of fabric and watercolor. The painting was not 100% but the effect is ok hahaha <3

People are complicated sometimes...

Chronometry1 anno/i fa#62746616I'll probably get labeled shit but whatever. This is probably one of my favorite anime couples. No one here (probably) minds that.
The whole idea of pride is tiring. If it was a day or a weekend like everything else celebrated such as Memorial day or celebrated in moderation like Black history month, great. People used to just be like "Yeah! Free love everywhere!"
Now it's rainbows everywhere for a month and then some now. Maybe for some people the flag is something that represents strength, but recent years it's just been like "IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS FLAG EVERYWHERE YOU'RE A BIGOT."
It's tiring to see companies monopolize on that. It's tiring to see that be a topic everywhere for irrelevant reasons and that in turn makes it political because people get angry about it all the time regardless of what side they're on.
It's an oversaturation.
If this was just Yuri and Victor loving each other like they always have, then wonderful. But it's not about that. It's about that flag and the repitition making sure YOU can't ever have a day without thinking about it and the issues it represents.

Consider this: LGBT people can't ever have a day they can avoid thinking about how something as tame as holding their partner's hand in public could mean risking being assaulted, or how discrimination is still rampant in several fields (employment, healthcare, etc.).
