About this picture

The lighting sort of sucks and it was hard to get back far enough to get this all in these photos, but nevertheless this is what my room currently looks like.

A lot of things are still a work in progress (I have to get better lights for my cases as an example) but since we're actually planing to sell and move... I'm not so concerned about it at the moment. I've always lived here... so the idea of selling and moving has me a bit nervous... It won't be for a year or so, but we're already starting to pack up some stuff. I'm really not looking forward to moving and packing all of this. >.>

Yes, I know the Christmas lights and stars are tacky but they are temporary and will be replaced/removed when I move.

drowranger5 anno/i fa#2562698The new place was basically some land with a few old buildings on it. My mother actually grew up there and when it went up for sale we made the decision to buy it. We sold our old place (see above room photos) had a new house built and it was moved there this summer. My father (who used to build houses when he was younger) is basically doing the rest himself (plumbing etc.). There was an good well on the property but some issues came up and we waited months to get it fixed (it had a number of problems and we couldn't afford to get a new one dug). But it's finally fixed and my father is now busy putting the plumbing in.
All my figures and their boxes were kept in a second house my father had fixed up (it was his workshop and place to store his antiques that he likes to collect) and we actually moved it from our old place to the new one. So all my figures and such were still in the house as it was being moved from one place to the other. It was actually rather interesting to see it going down a busy highway knowing what all was in it, and it's a big old fashioned Victorian house complete with a tower. ^^ Actually if you're curious the movers we had posted some photos of the house being moved on their facebook page: www.facebook.co... (it's the big yellow and brown house in the top banner pic actually) Now imagine my entire figure collection in there going down a highway.

Wow! Viewed your pictures.. amazing! I always admire the houses you folks have in the US.. big, cozy and no fences. It is too bad that the basic facilities are still not complete.

I guess you have inherited your dad's genes for collecting.

You mean you house is just to the highway? Is it going to be busy and dusty?

Btw, are you into hunting? Saw some guns etc. Nice Stark Industries ammo boxes you have there..

tanaka5 anno/i fa#2562600What? Your new place is still having problems with basic facilities? My goodness. Are you renting or owning it? I know it is too late to say this but I suppose you did some homework on the new place before you got it?
So where are all your loot now? All in boxes at your relatives' place?

drowranger5 anno/i fa#2551964Gosh, things went a lot slower then we had hoped. I haven't been home for a few months (I'm staying at a relatives place) as we had some major setbacks with getting our water and plumbing connected. There is still no water yet, but we are hoping to have that finished sometime in January. Then I'll move back and start dealing with my room and collection.

drowranger5 anno/i fa#2401144Not yet. The new place doesn't even have running water yet, so getting my collection displayed is the least of my worries now. But I might have an update by around Christmas time.

HisanaxByakuyaYour room is truly a sight to behold!

Did you make the Byakuya in the white suit atop of the bed?

Thank you. :)

That Byakuya picture is an official poster I bought on YahooJapan. There's an entry for it here on MFC: ITEM #42491
