Blue Star, is a space story; however, the characters frequently find themselves in forests on either of the two planets, Earth and Alphus. This is because I grew up in a town with lots of woods and when I think about them, it is my definition of peace. Forests are also mysterious; you can look into them through miles of trees and you may not see anything, but something is there deeper than you've ever been.

"Secret of the Forest" is the music that plays when you are traveling through the woods in "Chrono Trigger". The song is hypnotic, quiet, and emotive. The music isn't overwhelming and it stimulates thoughts and the imagination. It's easy to listen to and be taken away by a daydream.

The aesthetic of my story is dreams, fantasy, and stars. When my characters enter a forest, supernatural events happen that change the course of their journey. "Secret of the Forest" compliments their experiences because it is soft, melodic, and mystical like their first steps into the woods.

"Secret of the Forest" evokes emotions like desire, sadness, passion, and love; these are the same emotions my characters feel when they are alone in the woods. The forest is a vulnerable and intimate space for them because it is separated from busy society and full of healing nature. "Secret of the Forest" also compliments this because it is sensitive and delicate like picking a leaf from a tree and holding it in your hand. My characters are connected more deeply to their emotions when they're in the woods just like "Secret of the Forest" connects deeply to the emotions of the listener.

I've loved this song for a very long time and I do not remember the first time I heard it or where. This song has a lot of value to me because I listen to it and fantasize about being in a place meant for me in the forest with the animals and a deep mist. Forests are a significant feature in Blue Star, "Secret of the Forest" is a significant song to me, so their marriage to one another is a natural one.
