I only have ITEM #459171 from them so I don't know how quality is in general, but she's not very well made.

Mine didn't come with a broken head like many of them, but she's nowhere near the quality of figures from Good Smile, Max Factory, or Alter.

The biggest issue is her hair is sticky (like the paint won't dry), so dust gets on it and you can't remove it.

Personally I won't buy another figure from them.

I have a few in my collection and the aren't the best when it comes to quality but they do have a nice charm about them.

Own 2 of them. One is nice and one has a flaw that shouldn’t pass quality control. Besides that I have seen a few and the quality differs a lot. Their quality is in my opinion inconsistent.

My sense is that they're hit or miss depending on the figure, but I own both ITEM #675972 and ITEM #463481 and I think they both came out really well. No flaws or structural issues, great paint job on both.

EDIT: I forgot that ITEM #742926 is also from PLUM. I had to glue her into the base, but she also only cost like $7 and she's dummy cute with an amazing paint job for such a little guy.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it. Recently, I just got ITEM #604667 and have noticed a lot of flaws. The most bothersome would be that there is glue on her thigh and a mark on her face. I could try and get a replacement but I'm wondering if it is worth it or not. I could end up with a better quality one or one that is worse than what I have now. You would think that if you're paying over $100 for a figure the quality would be better.

Sorry, I don't know how to create that preview link ITEM #604667

    UPDATE: Thanks tharglet, it worked.

Just copy and paste the address to the figure.
e.g https://myfigurecollection.net/item/604667 becomes ITEM #604667. You can use the "preview" mode on the top bar to test stuff too.

I like her a lot! I think the contrast between pearlescent and matte paint works really well, her staff is lovely, and the translucent plastic for her shawl doesn't look cheap. The gold details are carefully painted. She's also not expensive, so although she might not be as impressive as other scales, I think she's very cute and worth the money. I got her for around $80?

I can pull her out of my case and take some photos if you'd like.

I didn't even realized she had a figure, she looks so cute! I love the colors. I would be happy with photos but I wouldn't want you to exert yourself just for that also :) Thank you very much.

Which figure? Since they have some hits and some misses, knowing which ones didn't come out so great is helpful.

Done! Sorry that background wall is so crappy--I didn't think until after I'd shot all those to actually clear out some space in my cabinet and use that instead, but oh well. I did take a couple of photos in there that look good, so maybe I'll go back and retake these at some point. Either way, I really do love this figure. Of course, on a second look, the painting on the back of her staff is actually rather sloppy and her front left hair strand is a little rough, but I didn't even notice those things until today. Overall I just think she's so cute. :3

Also, @ OP, I'm really glad you made this thread. I actually think it would be helpful to have threads for most companies (like we do for retailers), but I made an article about it a few months ago and it didn't get much traction. Maybe I should just go ahead and make another thread for a different company I want to talk about?

Thanks for saying so, I’m glad I decided to ask the question to. Before I didn’t really know too much about PLUM figures since I’m still kinda new to buying scale figures. I wasn’t sure if the paint quality from this company was a common problem or not, which it is. You should definitely create more threads about companies with similar issues just so people will know what to look out for. As for me I ended up returning my PLUM figure and I was sent a replacement, hopefully it’s better than the one I sent back.

UPDATE: I got my replacement and it's definitely a lot better than what I had before. Still some small things to complain about but not as noticeable or huge as the other one. I'm satisfied, not sure if I would buy another figure from PLUM in the future though, looking at their track record. We'll see.
