Hi. I was trying to create a new ad sales, and no matter what I do, it just keeps telling me to "Please fill all the required fields."

I thought it was due to my account being new, but I have the same error with my partner's account. I have also tried it on different browsers. No idea what to do. Could you help me?

Hi, I don't know if it's my mistake but this wasn't the case before, so I wanted to write it:

In my "Orders" page; the entire "Sort by" section (Release Date, Popularity, Price, Descending, Ascending, Date etc) are giving me the same results on the list. It used to sort correctly before.

EDIT: The issue is due to the photo size being too large; however the error doesn't really specify that's the issue. I'm assuming it's because of the new embed photos for Ads.

This has been forwarded already based on other reports we got the day this was implemented, but yep, the ad pictures follow the same rules as all other photos on the page. Problem is the ad will still display the preview thumbnail as if everything is alright, which, unfortunately, is not the case if the picture exeeds the following:

jpeg (.jpg), png (.png) and gif (.gif) up to 4400x4400 (19M) pixels and 4MB.
Pictures will be resized to a maximum resolution of 2048x2048 (4M) pixels.

I still got the issue in the multi-picture uploader that sometimes the uploading gets stuck. I can't seem to find logic, sometimes when uploading 2, it's stuck on 1/2. Sometimes when uploading 20, it gets to 15/20. Sometimes all of them work, and sometimes it's stuck on 1/20.

That feels like a tough one. Next time this occurs, could you store the entire batch you're trying to upload and put it into a cloud and send it to me?

Have also the same thing, nothing special with the pictures, most likely it's the website that has some hiccup and stop the transfert (for whatever reason).

Thanks for the replies, a hiccup/connection loss from the website seems to make the most sense, but I'll try what Petitssk recommended, maybe there is something technical there. I just tried to upload these 2 pictures as a batch and only the first one was able to get uploaded: ibb.co/album/V0...

Hiccup theory does seem plausible. I gave it a bunch of tries with those exact pictures (first hunch was that it may not like .jpg .png mixes, but that probably would have been become an issue way earlier) and then uploaded several 20-picture batches of photos of dogs and cats, but the only way I could literally force the uploader to give up was by selecting the pictures for the upload and then changing a picture's file name. So unless that's what you guys have been doing, I think it's just bad timing. If you want, you can submit the times you encounter this issue occurs and I can have someone check if we have particularly high server loads around that time.

I haven't been changing the filename in the uploader, no.

Looking at the last time I bulk-uploaded some things, where almost every attempt gave at least one small hiccup, the attempted times were between:
09/23/2023 - 08:28:18
and
09/23/2023 - 13:23:18

Not sure if I am overthinking it, but some days there are super popular pictures or articles here with lots of commenting going on. It was also a Saturday, which probably means a lot more people are active on the website than during the week?

I've consistently had issues uploading images to item/encyclopedia entries around 1PM PST for the past few days. Not sure what info I can provide that would help in regards to this aside from the fact I tried on both Firefox and Chrome.

Edit: Happens for 40 minutes.

I'm not sure if these are intended limits, but I cannot upload GIFs with more than 237 frames, and WEBPs with more than 328 frames, even if the images are well within the filesize and resolution guidelines.

UPDATE: It seems that the number of frames is not a set limit, rather some unknown factor determines how many frames an image can have before MFC will reject it.

I did manage to successfully upload this image with 480 frames, though I'm not sure why it worked, while others haven't.

Not sure if bug or some new functionality, but noticed with multiple figures there would be users stated as anonymous and not clickable names on the owned/ordered/wished.

Example: ITEM #2020221 has one on the wished.

not sure if this is a bug or what but i was trying to do "pick from origin" characters (i.e clicking eye dropper from under origin title to search) and two characters that are for sure linked were not coming up.

its nothing insanely disruptive but i was confused because i thought they were ocs until i decided to google, because they werent showing up.

origins was ENTRY #82321 and characters are ENTRY #187442 and ENTRY #187436

Not sure if it's intentional or a bug, but linking classifications to clubs is not possible; the button doesn't function. You have to go directly to the link menu in the club and search from there. It's been like this for as long as I can remember though, so unsure if this needs to be reported on.

every now and then my notifications will alert me that there's a new entry from (insert serie), when the item it's alerting already existed. there's been no edits, sometimes the entry has existed for years, yet i get a notification as if it was just uploaded. can't imagine it's intentional, and it seems to happen randomly

this morning i got notified about ITEM #1464728 but digging through my notifications i was notified about ITEM #1831014 2 weeks ago, ITEM #1588388 1 month ago and ITEM #946150 5 months ago, when their added dates were much earlier
